Best Ways To Sterilize Baby Bottles

Babies have far less immunity to illness than adults, so added precautions are needed with regard to everything you give a baby, including their bottles. Baby bottles need to be sterilized daily as the breast milk and formula they’re filled with can build up and form mold or bacteria that is harmful to the infant. Regular washing may be effective enough for adults and older children but babies need the extra sterilization to ensure the source of their nutrition is smart.

Scrub and Microwave

Using a bottle brush, dish soap and hot water scrub the inside of the bottles. Rinse then fill with super water. Microwave the water filled bottles for five minutes. The water will heat and become a sanitation medium that kills the germs and removes any dried liquid. Carefully remove from the microwave, pour out the water and rinse with clean warm water. Status out to dry on a drying rack. Make definite you don’t place the bottles on a dirty drying rack or handle with a dirty rags or hands.

Boil
